Frequently Asked Questions

What is NOKO?

NOKO makes gummies and chocolate bars infused with metocin (also known as 4-HO-MET), a synthetic tryptamine compound. They're sold in seven flavors: Blue Raspberry, Watermelon, Fruit Punch, Mixed Berry, Sweet Mint, Cookies & Cream, and Dubai Chocolate. Products are intended for adults 21 and older only.

What's actually in the gummies?

The active ingredient is metocin (4-HO-MET), a lab-synthesized tryptamine that is chemically related to psilocin, the compound the body produces from psilocybin ("magic mushrooms"). It is not psilocybin itself, and it is not derived from mushrooms — but it acts on the same serotonin pathways and can produce similar psychoactive effects.

Metocin is not evaluated or approved by the FDA for consumption. Independent, long-term safety data on this compound in humans is limited. We encourage you to review our Certificates of Analysis for batch testing information.

What will I feel?

Reported effects are similar to those associated with psilocybin: shifts in mood, sensory perception, and thinking, ranging from mild and subtle to intense and immersive depending on dose. Effects, onset time, and duration vary significantly by person, body weight, tolerance, and what else is in your system. Nothing here is a promise of a specific experience.

How do I choose a dose?

The easiest way to think about this is 1 gummy = 1g of magic mushrooms.

Each gummy is dosed in even increments so you can scale your experience:

  • 1 gummy — a light, subtle shift
  • 2 gummies — noticeable effects
  • 3 gummies — deep and immersive
  • 4 gummies — the full pack, most intense effects

If you're new to metocin or psychoactive tryptamines generally, start with one gummy and wait at least 60–90 minutes before considering more — effects can take time to build. Never take more because you don't feel anything right away.

Is this legal?

Metocin's legal status is unsettled and varies by country and by U.S. state. It is not explicitly scheduled everywhere, but its close structural and pharmacological similarity to psilocin means it may be treated as a controlled substance analogue in some jurisdictions, including under U.S. federal law in certain circumstances. Some states and countries have scheduled it outright.

We do not make a blanket claim that this product is legal in your location. It is your responsibility to check your own state and local laws before ordering. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders shipping to jurisdictions where this product is restricted.

Who shouldn't take this?

Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 21, have a personal or family history of psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or heart conditions, or are taking MAOIs, SSRIs, lithium, or other psychiatric medications — combining tryptamines with these can be dangerous. Do not drive, operate machinery, or combine with alcohol or other substances. If you're unsure whether this is safe for you, talk to a doctor before use, not after.

How should I store it, and how long does it last?

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, sealed, and out of reach of children, pets, and anyone under 21. Check the best-by date printed on your package.

How fast will my order ship, and where do you ship?

Most orders arrive within 3-4 days.
